Merged CiA email services: CAN Community News

In 2024, CiA provides a single email service, the CAN Community News (CCN). It is sent 3-weekly to the subscribers. Subscribers of the predecessor email services, CAN Info Mail (CIM) and CiA Member News (CMN), do not need to do anything, if they want to receive the CCN.

The CCN contains a “Word from the CiA Managing Director”, brief news about standards and specifications, CiA-organized events, and other valuable information. The CCN also provides hyperlinks to the scheduled CiA meetings and to new CiA Product Guide entries. Additionally, it lists new CiA members.

The legacy issues of the CIM 2023 and CMN 2023 remain on the CiA website. The first CCN issue is distributed on January 5 followed by the 2nd issue on January, 26.
